At ICE Utility Professionals (ICE), we believe it is important that our ICE staff have up-to-date knowledge of the energy market. This starts when someone joins the company. After a warm welcome, energy knowledge is immediately upgraded with the help of the "Energy Foundation" training course.
We use this training not only within ICE. An energy company naturally also has to deal with new colleagues. The "Energy Foundation" training course is also suitable to give as intake training. After the training, new employees know and understand the energy market and can therefore be deployed more quickly. In short, they can start their new job with a good basic knowledge.
So what is this training course about? The focus of this training is on basic knowledge of the processes within Customer & Market. During this training, you will learn about the market, the different processes and the energy transition.
The Market
In the first part of the course, we discuss what types of energy (gas, electricity and heat) we know. We discuss its history, how energy is generated, the different types and other characteristics. We also talk about the companies that make sure we can use this energy every day.
The Processes
Part two deals with the processes needed to keep the market up and running. These include metering data, billing and various grid operator processes.
Sustainability and energy transition
And last, but not least ... The Energy Transition. Hot topic these days! Right now, we are in the middle of it. But why actually? In the training we answer this question, take you through the current situation and tell you what is needed for the future.
After attending this course, you will be familiar with the basics of the energy market in the Netherlands. So ideal for new colleagues.
