What are you melting for?

At ICE, we melt for the energy transition and smart, sustainable solutions! As a Forecasting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in forecasting energy consumption and optimising customer and production portfolios. You will use data analysis and predictive models to help companies make strategic decisions in an ever-changing market.

With your keen insight and analytical ability, you prepare accurate forecasts for our clients in the energy sector. Whether they are short, medium or long-term forecasts, you minimise risks and maximise opportunities for our clients.

What will you do as a Forecasting Analyst?

  • Establish and optimise accurate forecasts for energy consumption and demand.
  • Analyse forecasting results and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and clear user stories.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate epics into features and manage the product backlog.

You have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Forecasting Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience with data analysis, modelling and programming skills (e.g. R or Python).
  • A completed HBO or WO degree, for example in Econometrics, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Strong affinity with the energy sector and experience with large data sets.

What do we offer you?

  • A starting salary between €3,800 and €5,700 appropriate to your work experience with an annual standard salary increase of 5%, so you continue to grow.
  • 20 holidays + 5 non-statutory days + the possibility of buying 3 days per year based on a 40-hour working week, giving you enough time for relaxation and balance.
  • Choice between an NS Businesscard with private use or a sustainable EV lease car.
