Vacancy: Forecasting analyst

You prepare the forecast for the Sales portfolio, both short-, medium- and long-term. You are able to estimate future consumption, minimise volume and imbalance risk and ensure that your client can put competitive propositions in the market. You analyse forecasting results and proactively suggest improvements based on these results. Responsible for forecasting models, data analyses and optimisation of customer and production portfolio. Naturally, you are conceptually strong and have experience in developing and improving models to make a difference.

What do you do as a forecast specialist?

  • You identify and translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • You establish a product vision and roadmap.
  • Managing and prioritising the product backlog.
  • With business representatives (and other product owners) translate epics into Features and translate them into clear user stories.
  • Achieve alignment on dependencies and realisation of epics and features.
  • You can handle change well without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Together with the scrum team, you are always looking to improve.
  • You are assertive, productive and ask the right questions.
  • You work in a dynamic environment that changes with the need.

Does this position suit you?

You are an analyst with a solid personality, who easily connects different disciplines and thinks conceptually. You are known for your razor-sharp analytical ability and rock-solid consultancy skills. You are a driven and convincing expert in your field, with:

  • A relevant HBO or WO education, e.g. econometrics, mathematics, or physics.
  • You have experience in data analysis, programming and show a strong affinity for modelling.
  • You have excellent analytical skills, a proactive attitude and are structured.
  • You are able to see connections in complex matters.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
